We're still here, we're still working...

Hello Future Possible Hoos!๐Ÿ‘‹

We know we are getting close to the May 1 release date for fall 2026 transfer application decisions.

We just want you to know that we are here, we are working, and we haven't forgotten you.

May 1 is still the date we've been given for the release.๐Ÿ—“️  It will be at the end of the day.  I don't have an exact time, as our tech team runs several processes for this release.  *Thank you, tech team!!๐Ÿ‘*

Students will receive an email letting them know that an update to their application portal is available.  Then you can log into your portal to view your admission decision.  Decisions are not sent via email - only notifications about portal updates are emailed.๐Ÿ‘

If your decision is waitlisted and you would like to remain on the waitlist, there is a form in your checklist in the portal that you will need to complete: the Fall 2026 Transfer Waiting List Reply form.  Thank you!

We'll post statistics when they are available.

Thank you all for considering UVA!๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿงก

Happy transferring!

Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Introduction to Public Policy is going online this summer!

Hello Future Possible Hoos!๐Ÿ‘‹ Did you hear the news?๐Ÿ“ฐ

LPPP 2200: Introduction to Public Policy is going online for the first time this summer, and you can grab this UVA-specific prerequisite while it's hot!๐Ÿ”ฅ

The Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy supports students seeking to make a difference in the world, be active and involved in their communities and/or government, or use the program as a stepping stone toward long-term goals like law school.  As with all schools and the College at UVA, Batten has a list of transfer course requirements that help ensure the smoothest transition for transferring.  They also ask for three prerequisite courses: Microeconomics, Social Psychology, and the UVA-specific Introduction to Public Policy.  This summer will be your chance to snag Intro to Public Policy online for the first time.๐Ÿ’ป

This 8-week course starts June 15 and runs through August 6.  It is an asynchronous class with a one-hour synchronous discussion each week.  To learn more about the offering and enrollment information, complete the interest form, and a Batten representative will reach out to you.

Until next time, happy transferring!๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿงก
