Quick reminder: If you were not admitted for spring 2013, there is a possibility that
you can "roll over" your application for this fall. You found some limited
instructions on this in your electronic letter. If you would like to be
considered, please email undergradadmission@virginia.edu or send us a
letter. Email is faster, so I would recommend going that route. When
you write, put the word "rollover" somewhere in the subject line. If
you would like to switch schools (Commerce, Engineering, Architecture),
please include that wish in your letter as well.
Not everyone can do this. Students who are not eligible for rollover are current juniors attending
a four-year university. Unfortunately, these students are no longer
eligible for transfer. Please check out the main UVA website for
information on our graduate programs.
Decisions will be released around May 1 for any rollover student who added in to the fall process.
**Most importantly, you need to send your updated college transcript
including your Fall 2012 grades when they become available. These will
be due by March 1, 2013**

I have a quick question. Can I send in my mid-term report after the March 1 deadline? Or does the school need to have the mailed report by that date?
I have a question: After I finish this spring 2013 semester, I will be a rising junior. But since I have taken several summer courses in the summer session before, my total credits will be over 60s, and close to 70s. So am I still qualified for applying for transfer admission into Mcintire? I'm really worried about the over credits status. Thank you so much for your help!
I am currently a sophomore and planning to transfer to McIntire this fall 2013. I'm not an international student but English is not my first language. I have already taken the SAT test with writing. Do I still need to take TOEFL?
Thank you so much for your help. I really appreciate that!
Shawn M,
Yes, you can send it after the March 1 deadline, preferably after mid-terms.
Tiffany,
While only 60 credits can be applied to your degree, the fact that you have slightly more than that won't affect your eligibility. This is because you're still only in your fourth semester.
koi,
If you have spent a significant amount of time in the States (5-10+ years) and you feel confident in your English skills, you do not need to take the TOEFL.
I sent in my application and everything else needed by the March 1st deadline for the GAA from NVCC, but my GPA is a 3.350. I am taking the remainder of needed classes this semester and I'm doing very well, as seen from my mid-term report; do I have to send another official transcript from NVCC to the admissions office once this semester is over so that it shows my improved GPA?
