Fall Transfer Open House

Readers, we hope you are being smart and keeping safe during this stormy, stormy week.  
You may have noticed that we've posted the date for our next open house on our website.  I thought I'd draw your attention to it here.   This semester's event will be on Friday, November 9 at 10AM.   You will hear from current students and faculty about the application and transition process to UVA.  The day will begin in the Newcomb Hall Theater.  Please register for the event here.

Schedule of Events:
10:00am - 10:45am: Transfer Information Session
11:00am - 11:45am: Presentations Given by Individual Schools
12:00pm: Walking Tour of Grounds

The day should end between 1:30-2PM.

College Fairs in Northern Virginia

For those of you who attend Northern Virginia Community College, please look out for us at next week’s college fairs at some of your campuses.  The schedule is as follows:

NOVA – Woodbridge – Tuesday, 10/16 – 10:30a-12:30p

NOVA – Annandale – Wednesday, 10/17 – 10:30a-12:30p

NOVA—Alexandria – Thursday, 10/18 – 10:30a-12:30p

Online Transfer Chat Later Today

This afternoon, from 4PM-6PM EDT, we’ll host an online transfer chat.  Stop in to ask questions about the admissions process. We should also have a couple of current students who transferred to UVA in the past participating.  They’ll answer questions about transitioning to UVA.  We will not “chance” anyone.  By that I mean, please do not give your stats and ask us to give us your chances.  

To join us, please go to http://admission.virginia.edu/chat and wait for the grey box to pop up.  Enter a username, click “Connect” and enter the rooms.One room will be for admissions questions. One room will be more Student Life oriented.
