The Next Wave
The next wave of offers will be released within the next 24 hours. This will be about 40 applicants from the College, Engineering and the Batten School of Public Policy. There are plenty of Virginians and out of staters in this batch, as there were in the first wave. Keep in mind that more Virginians apply during the transfer process. This is the opposite for first-year admission. More out-of-staters apply during that process. We are coming towards the end, but it's not over yet. Again, I will announce it here if there are more offers or if the waitlist is closing for any school. We hope to have this wrapped up by the end of the month or beginning of July.

Thanks for the update! Should the timetable be interpreted as "some time tomorrow" or is there a possibility that decisions are changed tonight?
has anyone gotten an offer since this was posted?
I have completed all of my requirements for guaranteed admissions from NOVA. I even had a transfer dean look over my transcript. I applied to the college of Arts and Sciences, received my offer, etc etc... I have not seen any changes on my SIS or received an email. I have no To-Do's either. Is there a chance I won't be accepted?
Will this next wave include any students off the nursing waitlist?

If my SIS hasn't changed yet, does that mean I will not be accepted in this second wave?
What does it take to be accepted as an OOS applicant? I have a 4.0GPA from a state school, 32 ACT, and graduated HS top 10% yet I'm still on the waitlist.

Will the change show up in the SIS under "view Decision"? When I go there, will clicking on "I wish to remain of the waiting list" do anything?

Hi Transfermer,
Is 40 the number of students admitted to all of the schools collectively or is 40 the number of students let into each of the schools?
Also, is it safe to say that from this point the applicant pool left is small enough to the point where no more waves of acceptances will be done?

would UVA let us know if we did NOT get a spot? like send an email or change the SIS? since it's been quite awhile and there's been no answers from Transfermer either.
Can we assume that decisions and offers are being made today? Could you post an update here to let us know a possible timeline we can expect for further communications?
Is it likely that there will be at least a handful of offers made to A&S applicants prior to the closing of the waitlist?
When the wait list eventually closes, everyone will get an email. That day is not today. I just wanted to give you a quick update.

There are no offers being made at this time. We are coming towards the end. I'll announce it here and you will receive an email when we close all wait lists.
