Getting the word out to Virginia Community Colleges
This summer, the deans and counselors are making a concerted effort to meet with the administrators and counselors of many community colleges around the state. So far, these meetings have been very productive and both sides are very happy to see each other. The biggest topic discussed is our Guaranteed Admission Agreement between Va Community Colleges and UVA. See here: http://www.virginia.edu/undergradadmission/docs/agreement.doc But in addition to the agreement, we are meeting to see how we can increase communication between both parties, and of course, you, our applicants!

The Transfer Wait List
Hello All,
Sorry you haven't heard from me in a while. We will be going to the wait list for all of the schools with the exception of the Architecture and Education schools. I know this is unfortunate news for many of you, but with so few spots and so many great candidates, it is difficult to go to the wait list for these schools.
We expect to take 50-75 students off of the waitlist for the other schools. The majority will come come from the "College(College of Arts and Sciences)" or the E(ngineering) School.
We hope to mail these letters with the next 7-10 days.
