Always Keep an Eye on your Email
This is just general advice about checking email. Please make sure you check the address you listed on your application regularly. This is our favorite way of communicating with you. If anything is missing or we have questions about your application, we will email you. Sometimes, we're unlucky and our correspondence goes into your Spambox. Please check that as well. Because we are all operating with such a short time frame, you wouldn't want an email dangling out there in cyberspace.

Hi,
I know this doesn't have to do specifically with what the topic is about, but I'm curious how long after someone submits their commonapp, would they get an email with info on how to activate their sis account?
Phommen,
This usually takes 2 or 3 days. I hope you've gotten it by now.
and what if we have not received an email yet? what does that translate to?
I personally sent in my materials on Oct 25th. and have not received anything in terms of confirmation emails (I haven't received any email replies to any of my questions either).
Is it just a matter of sorting through all the applications? Because I have confirmation that my Commonapp, U.Va. suppliment, Commonapp payment and transcript materials were all received by the Admissions office prior to Oct 29th.
I am in the same situation as heftyperson. I have yet to receive an email about my sis account and I submitted my application on the 29. I did receive confirmation that my common application, supplement, and payment were received, but no email from UVA. :-/
Should we be worried?
My application status says complete. What do i do next? Do i just sit and wait till may or there's something i ave to be doing.
