Hello All,
We are still looking at the class and the numbers. I should have information on the status of the wait list at the end of next week. Unfortunately, this is a waiting game. But, we will begin to work on it at the end of the month and will probably continue working on it until late June.
Why does it say on Dean J's blog that they have begun to give out offers as of last week and here it says they will not begin giving offers until the end of May?
ReplyDeleteI think its because Dean J's blog is for first year students mainly.
ReplyDeletecan you talk about the transfer credit process please
ReplyDeleteI would like to know more about credit evaluation too.
ReplyDeleteTransfermer,
ReplyDeleteI applied for the Comm school, but did not granted admissions. However, I also noted in the application that I fall under the GAA for the CAS. Who should I contact in order to get that corrected. Thanks!
Best of luck to everyone in getting off the waitlist. Personally, I'm looking forward to the end of all this stress! Win or lose, it's been a learning experience.
ReplyDeleteYours in anxiety,
Fives McGee
GAA,
ReplyDeletei believe you wouldn't be considered for the CAS if you applied to Mcintire, even though you indicated that in your application.
My friend wanted to go to the comm school but applied to the CAS because simply "going to UVA" was his main goal.
I hope this helped. Good luck.
Any new updates?
ReplyDeleteif any of you guys get the lucky call/e-mail, let us know! just tell us which school you got into. Help your fellow hopefuls out by giving us any updates! Thanks
ReplyDeleteany news yet? i'm ready for another update!
ReplyDeleteYes please, throw us a bone! :)
ReplyDeletemy friend said he heard calls went out today. if you got in, congrats! if not, better luck next year :/
ReplyDeleteNick, how does your friend know?
ReplyDeleteWe were supposed to hear about the numbers end of last week... Its been a week. Any updates on the numbers?
ReplyDeleteThank you
Need more update earnestly, so we can abate the anxiety.
ReplyDeletePlease
Anon,
ReplyDeleteHe heard it from his sister, whose best friend was on the waitlist. Apparantly she was freaking out about it.
Well that's exciting news! From what I understand, acceptances are sent out in waves, so even if we haven't heard anything from admissions, rejections will not be sent until every spot has been filled. Or so I hear.
