Welcome or Welcome Back to the Blog! Make a name for yourself!

Hi there,

The subject line is a little play on words. A blog is nothing without its commenters. But in order to make it more fun and clear, please make up an alias(name) for yourself.

It's very easy. After you make your comment, choose an identity. Don't click Anonymous! Put a name in the box. You don't have to register with Blogger or anything. This is your chance to be creative. If your name is Sam, you could be Matt. If your name is Jimmy, you could be J. Ohhh, the choices...

Anyway, it helps me to better answer your questions or comments if there is not a string of comments from "Anonymous"

Thanks!

  1. Hi Transfermer,

I have a question regarding submitting test scores. If I meet the being out of high school requirement barely albeit still 5 years, should I send a note to the admissions office so my application can be read. Basically what I'm asking, are waivers granted automatically or must they be requested?

  3. Always waiting...i'm sure Transfermer can give you the best answer, but I sent an email to admissions with "Checklist Adjustment Request", my name, and my date of birth in the subject asking them for the waiver and test scores disappeared from my to-do list the next day.

  4. Hi,
I was just wondering if the financial aid awards will be released with the decisions. If not, how long after we receive the admissions decision will we hear about financial aid?
    Thank you.

Just a quick question about decisions. Are there decisions of being wait listed for us transfer students, or is it a straight accept/reject decision? If it is a wait list decision, what does that entail? I am a Charlottesville native, so a meeting in Peabody would not be an issue. I am assuming the admissions board would be waiting for final grades of this spring semester perhaps?

Thank you for all of your work and information you have given to all of us with this blog.

    Hey Transfermer,

Thanks again for the posts, because they are probably the only thing keeping me sane from the waiting!
