Hello all,
As you can tell, Transfermer has been away from the blog. While we are still in and out of the office, the blog will probably continue to be in a "summertime lull" phase until school begins. Please come back at that time for the most recent updates.
Next up! The Spring 2009 application process -- we are still working out the kinks involved with spring transfers applying through the common application. You will be able to apply there, but I'm told the application won't be available until late August. As you might or might not know, the deadline is November 1. Think about gathering up your high school transcript and test scores while it's summer and things are quiet.
See you in a few weeks.
Enjoy the rest of your summer!
The transfer application is now up on the Common Application. Finally :-)
ReplyDelete--If we have already applied once to UVA do we have to have our high school information sent in again, or do you keep those?
Hi, I was wondering if there is going to be fewer transfer spots available this year since there was an over-enrollment? Although I like my school a lot, UVA is still where I want to be, so I just wanted to know what the statistics will be like for the transfers this year. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteJennifer,
ReplyDeleteYou will not have to re-send your high school transcript or test scores.
Lindsey,
This is a good question. Fortunately, next year's enrollment will not be affected by this year's overenrollment.
Thank goodness! I was so worried that it would. You all do keep the records from last year? I had just assumed we had to resend them this year.
