This afternoon, we'll be offering to about 20 students from the engineering and arts and sciences wait lists. Once again, you'll see an email notifying you if you have been selected. That said, your SIS account will also show whether you remain on the wait list, or if you have been admitted. These admitted students have about 48 hours to respond. After we tally up our numbers, we'll see if there is any more room left early next week.

ReplyDeleteI suppose the emails have been received for this round already. Hoping to hear good news next week then!
ReplyDeleteAny offers from the commerce list?
ReplyDelete@Ana
ReplyDeleteSame situation here. I was really hoping to hear something. I guess I'll have to hold out til next week and just hope for the best. Good luck!
Thanks! Good luck to you too, hope we get to be future classmates!
DeletePhewww. What a moment of suspense! What would the world be like if "patience" didn't exist?
ReplyDelete-When you miss out from the first decision (May 1st), you ask yourself a few questions and attempt to find answers (only speculate)
-When the second offer is made and you UNEXPECTEDLY miss out again, the "few" questions from the first time multiply exponentially in your head and at this stage you can't even attempt to find answers any more because you will not find any.
Let me see what the future has in store for me.
Hoping to hear back today that I got into my dream school. Good luck, everyone!!
ReplyDeleteMaybe we'll hear something about the third wave of offers this week. Good luck, all!
ReplyDeleteGood luck Charles! I hope we get good news soon!
DeleteStill on ALERT here.
ReplyDeleteMe too! I've been refreshing the blog and my email like crazy!
ReplyDeleteThis week is almost over, when are we expecting the last wave of offers...? I've also been refreshing the blog and the portal every few hours. The waiting....
ReplyDeleteGood luck to all!!!
Based on the language of the call I made to Admissions, I THINK there will be a third wave. They said they'd be out this week so I'd keep an eye out today and tomorrow. Wish I could help more...
ReplyDeleteYeah I just called and the representative said we all should hear something by the second week of July
ReplyDeleteWhich is this week. So let's all keep our heads up!
ReplyDeleteImagine IF these TWO qualities did not exist: "Perseverance and Patience".
ReplyDeleteJust got denied. This has been a great experience y'all :) Good luck to everyone!
ReplyDeleteI, too, have just been sentenced :) Good luck to you all.
ReplyDeleteSorry, If im commenting under the wrong post. However, I just wanted to ask you that I will be entering as a second year student with 5 more semester left or 6 more (which is a just regular second year transfer) with my 41 credits from the previous institution. Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteHi Ashley,
ReplyDeleteIf you are applying for spring, presumably you'll have more than 41 credits at the end of the fall semester. This means you'll be a second-semester second-year in January.
Hi, Thank you for your reply transfermer! I left my comment in previous posting about transferring with 41 credits. I applied for this fall with 41 credits and am wondering why i am not transferring as a regular second year while my friend who is bringing more credits than I am is transferring as a first-semester second year. I am just a little bit confused.. Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteAshley,
ReplyDeleteIt's tough to say without looking at your transcripts, AP test scores, etc. If I'm understanding you correctly, and you are indeed starting at UVA next week, this would be a question for the the college in which you're enrolled.
