Decisions will be released tomorrow!

As we've said a few times, decisions will be released tomorrow, May 1st.  We don't know the time because our student information systems folks don't want the system to get overwhelmed with multiple log-ins.  That said, I'm pretty sure it will be in the early evening. Remember that you can see your decision online, but in order to do that, you have to have your SIS ID and password at the ready.  Once you get inside your account, the "view decision" link at the bottom of your SIS page will go to a decision letter instead of the "May 1st" message that's there right now.  If you don't remember or can't find your login info, use the links on the login page to generate a new password. We'll be back with more tomorrow. 

UPDATE, 5/1, 2:15: Decisions should appear after 5:00pm today.  I'm not sure where the 3:00PM speculation came from.  We would encourage you to take a breath until then. Please refrain from calling the office.  Our reps will tell you the same thing.

    Couldn't sleep waiting for Transfer Decision, its 7:33 am SIS still states Check back on May 01, 2015? This blog mentions early evening? I.T. guys say it should have been by 7:30 am ???

    I think you can only access your decision through the SIS. It's in the student center.

    Historically I know they emailed to let us know decisions would be released that day. Stressful to just keep waiting for SIS and omg yes I refresh it every 10 seconds which is just painful! As if waiting until may 1 wasn't suspense enough. Hang in there everybody!

    The sad little person that posted the Imgur link is probably the one posting all of the frantic anonymous comments about SIS and their student centre notifications. Nothing has changed, decisions always come in the late afternoon.

    I honestly don't know anything about this myUVa box. I've consulted with colleagues and they've assured me that decisions are not linked to the myUVa pages. I do hope that it's multiple real people who have it and not one poster posing as multiple "not real" people. All I can say is that SIS is the place to go (after 5pm) to see your decision.

    Please, please, please make up an alias and end the posting as Anonymous writers. Thank you!
