Hello,
As of now, the fall transfer waitlist is closed. If you were on the waitlist, you should have received notification by both email and your MyUVA Application Portal. We appreciate your patience with this process. As usual, there were more qualified applicants than available spots, and we understand the disappointment many of you feel by not being offered.
However, we hope you are excited to move forward with other options. And, if you are still interested in UVA, the spring transfer process begins this fall, as applications are due on October 2. For more information about the spring transfer process, please consult https://admission.virginia.edu/admission/transfer.
Keep in mind that spring transfer only applies to the College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Architecture’s Architectural History and Urban and Environmental Planning programs. Students who plan to apply for spring transfer must have earned at least 24 credit hours by the end of this fall’s semester.
As we move closer to fall, expect more posts discussing the spring transfer process. If you have any questions about it beforehand, though, please feel free to contact our office at undergradadmission@virginia.edu.
For now, please have a safe and enjoyable summer, and Go Hoos!
